"So I don't know which came first. If it's the children's version that an adult band later sang or if it was the adult band that came up with this song and the kids picked it up. But a lot of songs in Africa we have like that. You end up hearing adult bands start playing it and they're children's songs. So anyway, that's it, we're not claiming copyright for this one. It's just a song we sang in Cameroon as children growing up." -Nyango M. Nambangi
