This New Year's song is sung to the tune of "O My Darling Clementine!"

There are actions that go with this song. In order to understand the actions, you have to know the hand gestures used when wishing someone a Happy New Year in China. Young people bow to older people. But when it's friends, women wrap the right hand around the left hand (which should be loosely bent). Men wrap the left hand around the right hand (which should be in a fist). Then they wish the person a Happy New Year.

Lines 1, 2 & 4: Hold hands together in front of you with one hand over the other moving them front and back to the music.
