*Note from Nyango: "Ajasco is the name of a popular cartoon character in some West African magazines."
Later Nyango wrote, "I think 'jive' was actually used for 'dance'. We did call the twist 'twist'. But I remember people talking of 'jiving' when they go to parties, not as a kind of dance but just dancing in general."
