Nyango Melissa sent us this song with the note: "We did this as a play in Primary School (ages 5 - 12 years old - I think that will be the equivalent of Elementary through Junior High School) - and basically, a young lady sat surrounded by her maids/friends; a young man walked up to her and started wooing her with this song. He sings the verse and she and her maidens respond. Very simple, but we loved this 'play'."

Many thanks to Nyango Melissa Nambangi of the Minnesota African Women's Association – MAWA - Minneapolis, for contributing this song and for singing it for us!
