Answer: Parchment, pens, and wax.

Here's Why: Parchment is made from animal skin (often that of calves) and was used to make paper to write on and for books.
Feather pens (called quill pens) most often came from the feathers of geese.
Bees make wax which was used to seal important documents and to make candles. The wax seal was important to show that no one tampered with a letter after it was sent. (They didn't have the modern postal system after all!)
