Cifra palota - Hungarian Children's Songs - Hungary - Mama Lisa's World: Children's Songs and Rhymes from Around the World - Intro Image

Game Instructions

Three or four children stand in a small circle holding hands. They lift their hands forming gates: they're the "palace". One child, the "rose" goes in the middle of the circle (i.e. inside the palace). The other children walk in a larger circle around them while holding hands. At the end of the 1st verse, the "rose" comes out of the "palace" and chooses a new "rose". They change places and continue the game.

Listen

The last verse in the mp3 is slightly different:

Kicsi vagyok én
majd meg növök én
esztendőre vagy kettőre
férjhez megyek én.

Translation:

I am small
I am growing up,
And in a year or two
I'm getting married.
