Itzi, bitzi araña - Mexican Children's Songs - Mexico - Mama Lisa's World: Children's Songs and Rhymes from Around the World - Intro Image

Carlos McClesh wrote: " I was raised in Mexico, a long time ago and I remember the Itzi Bitzi spider song like this:

La pequeñita araña
tejió su telaraña
vino la lluvia
y se la llevó

Y salió el sol
y se secó la lluvia
y la pequeñita araña
subió, subió, subió.

It's almost the same as the one posted except it says 'la pequeñita' (the little bitty) instead of 'itzi bitzy' so the whole song is in Spanish. I'll translate it as a reference, but I believe the English version posted is great.

The little bitty spider
Wove its spider web,
The rain came
And took it away.

And the sun came out
And dried the rain,
And the little bitty spider
Went up, up, up.
