Sardines – A Hide and Seek Game

Sardines is a reverse version of the normal Hide and Seek game.

The kid who is “It” hides while all of the other children count to 25 or 50. When they finish counting they all go looking for the one who is “It”. Anyone who finds the kid who’s “It” squeezes into his hiding place with him/her. This goes on until there’s only one kid left – at this point the ones hiding are squished into the hiding spot like sardines! When the last kid finds the others he becomes the new one who is “It”. He hides first in the next round of the game.

Hi I am a child and I want to know who is the winner in this game. Is it the last one to find who’s “It” wins? Or the first person to find who’s “It” wins? Sincerely, Mikayla Hayes.

I don’t think there is a winner. It’s just played for fun!
