Does Anyone Know a Song, Possibly from Spain, called “Chichiwa”?

Sarah wrote:

My father-in-law came back from Spain singing this song called “Chichiwa”, and my 5 year old son loves it, but none of us know the words. Can anyone help? I’ve been trying to find it on the internet and there are references to it on a couple of Dutch websites, but no lyrics.

Hope someone can tell us more about it!

Sarah

If anyone can help out with this song, please comment below or email me.

Thanks!

Lisa

UPDATE: Maxine wrote to me that this song is in Spanish. She heard it while on vacation in Majorca. She wrote…

It starts off:

Compania (Hands go around head)
Brassand dah (Arms go outstretched)

I then do not know the rest of the words, but the arms are then in a position to become some sort of creature… where the verse is Chichiwa, chichiwa, chichiwa wa wa

I’ve written to the holiday company on the hope they can help!!

UPDATE: You can find the lyrics to Chu Chu Wa in Spanish and English here.

    Hola Sarah:
Soy Argentina y me llamo Ana.
    Mucha suerte.
    Ana

    Dear Sarah:
I’m so sorry I’ve wrote in Spanish. Now I do it in English. The song Chu chu wa (I really do not konw how to write because it’s only a sound) belongs to an Argentine clown called Piñon Fijo. Look for the song on his web page http://www.pinonfijo.com.ar. He has tv programs for children and many CDs full of songs. Children like him very much. Good luck. Ana

  3. Sarah Says:

Thankyou Ana and Maxine for your help! We have just found Pinon Fijo on YouTube singing Chu chuua, with all the actions too!

    Muchas Gracias!
    Sarah x

Thanks for letting us know about the YouTube video.

If you use Bearshare to download MP3s then type in Chichiwa in the
search facility on Bearshare and you will get the right version that
your father-in-law sang when he returned from Spain. You can then
save it in to your files and play it back as an MP3.

Also, does anyone know the song I think about a Crocodile or sounds like Crocodilo.

The staff acting it out seem to do actions for various animals …. starts with a dog, then a cat, mouse and then a few more and then they seem to stop when it gets to crocodile. At this point they prance around the stage clapping their arms together in a crocodile type way.

Believe me it was very funny
