Can Anyone Help with the Greek Song "Underneath the Apple Tree"?

Katina wrote asking for help with two Greek songs that she’d like to sing to her great-granddaughter.  Here’s what she wrote:

Hi Mama Lisa,

I have two songs that were sung to me by my father and mother, and that I sang to my children and grandchildren. I want to sing them to my great-granddaughter, but I do not have the complete lyrics, only parts in English and Greek, and I am hoping you might be able to help me identify them.

This is the first one. The translated title is Underneath the Apple Tree:

Apo cot apti melya
Mes to dalla
Mesimeri
Na kyar hison ta pouliyia
Tra la la tra la

Underneath the apple tree
In the meadow at noon
Now the birds are
Starting to sing
Tra la la
Tra la la

Here is a second one; I am not sure of the title:

Harasi e avyoula
Petouni ta polia
Kai mes me ti throusoula
Na kano me kalla
Tra la la

Thank you.

Please let us know in the comments below if you can help with either song.

Thanks in advance!

Mama Lisa
