Hello Jessica.
My mum used to sing this to me as a child. Think it goes like this>
Tuku tuku ulliga faren
killi killi vita lammen
becke becke bessarna stangas vilt
stangas i farahjorden
solen sig sakta sanka
vad manne vanne tanka
tidigt i morgon vi ses igen
langt ner vid ensliga heden
I am probably wrong. But it’s something?

Greetings from Finland to Jessica, Mama Lisa and …
The Children’s Song in question is in finnish as follows:
***
Tuku, tuku lampaitani
Kili, kili, kiliäni
Päkä, päkä puskuripässiä
Päkä, päkä pässiäni
Aurinko mailleen laskehtii,
Kussapa kultani viipyypi.
Kyllä me tavataan huomenna
Toisemme suurella salolla.
***
tuku; it doesn’t mean anything. Perhaps it is an ancient appeal word to a lamb.
lampaitani; this means “my lambs”, so she is appealing her lambs to come to her
kili = young goat
kiliäni= my young goat
päkä; it doesn’t mean anything. ….ancient appeal word….
puskuripässi; this is “ram that rams”
pässi=ram
pässiäni=my ram
Aurinko mailleen laskehtii=The Sun is setting
Kussapa kultani viipyypi= Where is my dearest now
Kyllä me tavataan huomenna toisemme suurella salolla.
We shall have our rendezvous tomorrow on another great land.

Hi – My mom’s grandma used to sing her a finnish song. My mom says it meant rocking – bauba, bauba. But I cannot find anything about it. After looking, could she have been singing vauva, vauva – baby? Any thoughts/ help would be appreciated! I would love to find the song for my mom!
