“I’m Yaniza and I’m a Pre-K teacher and pop singer-songwriter. My Pre-K students love this song of mine :) The ukulele relaxes them while encouraging them to be brave. This song really is a tribute to the beauty of travel. Here’s a YouTube followed by the lyrics…

Fly Away (Free Bird)

Verse:
I woke up having a good day, sun was shining, I got good news in my mailbox
But sometimes I get kind of restless, think of all the places, where I’ve never been
Took a stroll down the street, the cloud spoke to me and, this is what they said

Chorus:
You’re a free bird, your life is your life, and if you wanna fly away then go ahead and fly
You’re a free bird, your mind is your mind, and if you wanna fly away then go and don’t be shy
‘Cause you’re a free bird

Verse:
So I packed up all my things and, called up all my best friends, told them come with me and
We’ll find stories and adventures, as we stick together, what more could we need?
I know being brave is scary, comfortable is easy, but just remember this

Chorus:
You’re a free bird, your life is your life, and if you wanna fly away then go ahead and fly
You’re a free bird, your mind is your mind, and if you wanna fly away then go and don’t be shy
‘Cause you’re a free bird

Bridge:
Fly, fly away, away from time, time to fly x4

Alt Chorus:
You’re a free bird, your life is your life, and if you wanna fly away then go ahead and fly
You’re a free bird, tonight is your night, and if you wanna fly away then go and don’t be shy
‘Cause you’re a free bird

I’m also planning on releasing it in Spanish sometime soon!”
