Черепаха

Шла по полю черепаха
И дрожала вся от страха:
"Кусь-кусь-кусь,
Кусь-кусь-кусь,
Ничего я не боюсь!"

English Translation:

The Tortoise

A large tortoise was walking in the field,
She was trembling from fear,
"Yum, yum,
Yum, yum,
I’m afraid of nothing at all!"

The Tortoise was written by Maya Osnovina and her friend Larissa.  They have written a collection of Russian nursery rhymes with French translations.

French Translation:

La Tortue

Une tortue marchait doucement
Dans le champ, dans le champ.
Elle tremblait, toute effrayée,
De la peur d’être mangée,
Mais disait à tous partout:
"Je n’ai peur de rien du tout!"

Cette comptine provient du livre de comptines et chansons russes de Maya et son amie Larissa. C’est un livre bilingue avec les paroles en russe et français et les instructions.
