Great Charity Benefit Idea

image

Our school district had a Faculty Basketball Game to benefit local families in need.  Tickets cost $6.00 each.  The teams were the faculty from the elementary school versus the faculty of the middle school.  The kids loved seeing their teachers playing basketball.  One principal even played!  Guess who was the most cut-throat?  The lady principal!

The cheering was wild!  I even had to hold my ears closed at times.  The game sold out and everyone had fun.  Plus it benefited local families during a particularly difficult economic time. What a great idea!

Oh, and the elementary school team one!  Hooray!

Just a Note: I think it’s great that 3 out of 4 of our schools have lady principals.  There were none in my schools when I was kid.  What great role models these girls have today!
