Can Anyone Help with an African Song with the Line, "Banga titi para biani"?

Claire sent us some lyrics to an African song with a translation that seems much longer than the original lyrics. She’d like to know to which African country this rowing song belongs to. Would anyone be familiar with it?

Original Lyrics:

Banga titi para biani
Banga titi para biani

Refrain:
Eléléyo, éléléyo, yo, éléléyo
Yo, éléléyo.

Translation:

1. Let’s row, boys, under the sun.
Refrain

2. Our great/large river is unique/has no equal.
Refrain

3. Tonight we’ll be home.
Refrain

Would anyone know which country this song is from, or what the language is? If you can help, please comment below.

Thanks!

Mama Lisa
