Can Anyone Help with a Papiamento Children’s Song?

Betzy wrote from Venezuela:

Hi!

I write you from Maracay, Aragua State, Venezuela, to ask if anybody would know the song in Papiamento that goes somewhat like “mama dame un cent pa mi bay”… my mommy would sing it to the children. Now she passed away. We have a new baby in the family and we want to sing it but we don’t remember it. The tune is the same as “Duérmete mi niño”, the Venezuelan song. Please, I’d be very grateful if someone could help me.

Gracias!

If anyone can help Betzy with the original version of this song, and/or a translation in Spanish or English, please let us know in the comments below.

Thanks!
