Note on Pronunciation: This song comes from the west of France. The pronunciation of "avoine" corresponds to the geographical origin and time, when "oi" was pronounced as "oué" and then "ouè". In some areas, it was pronounced as "aveine", and in both cases it rhymed with "amène".
