Here’s a sweet little Polish hand play that was translated so it can be recited in English.  You can see the video below showing the actions to make with your hands along with the English version of the rhyme…

The Guests are Coming!

- Mummy, mummy!
- What? What? What?
- Guests are coming!
- And so what?
- Good morning, good morning!
- Mwah, mwah, mwah! (Kissing sound.)

Many thanks to Agnieszka Magnucka for sharing this rhyme and video with us!  Agnieszka translated it from a Polish rhyme her mum taught her when she was young.

Many thanks Lisa for posting the play :)
My mum taught me this rhyme when I was a child and now I’ve passed this to my children.
As we live in the UK, I translated it into English, but the origin is Polish.
Would you like to have the Polish version too?

  2. Lisa Says:

    That would be lovely Agnieszka!
