  • In case you were wondering about TTYL…

Someone just ended an email to me with TTYL and their name.

So, in case you were wondering what it means, TTYL can mean any of the following:

    Talk To You Later
    Type To You Later
    Text To You Later

I find these things to be fun and interesting to learn. What can I say, I’m easily amused!

    TTYL

      HI LISA,

This is really very good to know. Last year I came across Madonna’s own fairy tales – The English Roses – and there I saw another acronym, which was: TGTBT. The girls in their everyday chat apply this term many times, and finally the narrator explains what it means: too goog to be true. I would be interested whether is is really existing in English, or it is “just” an artistic invention from the pop queen?

I mean, sorry for misspelling: too good to be true!!!!
