Do You Know a Song from the Canary Islands about a House and Roof?

A while back Cathie wrote me:

2 years ago I went on vacation to the Canaries. At night the children danced to a song which spoke about a house and roof. They made gestures to mime this song. It was in Spanish. Could you inform me about the lyrics and title of this song? It’s a little vague, but that’s all I know.

Thank you,

Cathie (France)

If anyone can help out with this song, please comment below.

Thanks!

Lisa

I found the lyrics of the songs sung on Youtube here:

It doesn’t talk about a house and a roof though the gestures of the kids could make you think they’re talking about them.

Here are the lyrics to Veo veo:

Hello, will you know how can I find the lyrics and a youtube link to a kids song, we have been dancing to all week in Lanzarote. It is listing all the canary islands and we have been told it is called welcome to the islands, but can not find anything to this effect. The kids hold hands and sing various words, and then get to the middle to list all canary islands. The song is in Spanish. Will be glad if you could help us out please. Many thanks and best regards, Mel
