A poem by Robert Frost...

Notes

This little poem by Robert Frost is interesting on its own. But when you consider that crows are a symbol of death and that hemlock is poison it takes on a deeper meaning. Perhaps a little unpleasantness in the day isn't so bad when you keep things in the perspective of your whole entire life.

This poem can be found in "Star-points: Songs of Joy, Faith, and Promise from the Present-day Poets" (1921), edited by Mrs. Waldo Richards.
