"Here are Mother's Knives and Forks" can be recited or sung. A popular version in England is called "Here are the Lady's Knives and Forks".

Notes

A slightly different version:

1. Here are mother's knives and forks,
2. And here's my grandma's table,
3. Here's my sister's looking-glass,
4. And here's the baby's cradle.

Game Instructions

1. Interlace fingers with fingers up like knives and forks.
2. Turn them over with palms facing down and hands flat to form a table.
3. Keep fingers interlaced and hands flat with the palms faced towards you like you're looking into a "looking-glass".
4. Put interlaced hands with palms up, "rock" hands back and forth like a cradle.
