I am looking for a Polish song that has a kitten in a wood pile meowing. My sister remembers this but I do not. Can anyone help me?
If anyone can help with this song, please comment below.
Thanks!

Wlazl kotek na plotek i mruga
ladna to piosenka nie dluga.
Nie dluga nie krotka lecz w sam raz
zagraj nam koteczku jeszcze raz.
kind of translation:
This cat climbed onto a wooden fence and blinked.
‘Thats a nice song, not very long,
not too short, not too long, just right
Play this song one more time for us cat!’

That’s cool. Thanks for giving us the lyrics. I think there’s a similar song in English that has lines that are close to the 2nd and 3rd…
That’s a nice song, not very long,
not too short, not too long, just right
But I can’t think of which song it is off hand.

Monique Palomares pointed out that we have a similar song on our Poland Song Pages at:
http://www.mamalisa.com/?t=es&p=675&c=70
Wlazł kotek na płotek i mruga,
i mruga,
ładna to piosenka niedługa,
niedługa.
Nie długa, nie krótka, lecz w sam raz,
lecz w sam raz.
Zaspiewaj koteczku jeszcze raz,
jeszcze raz.
(English)
A kitten sits on the fence and he blinks,
And he blinks.
It’s a very pretty song, and it’s not long,
It’s not long.
Not long and not short, but just right,
But just right.
Come on, little kitten, sing again,
Sing again.
Many thanks to Kasia Koscielska for contributing and translating this traditional song from Poland.
