About Isle of Man
Isle of Man is an island in the Irish Sea located between Ireland and Great Britain. It's a British crown dependency, but it is not part of the UK or the European Union. (The United Kingdom is responsible for its defense.)
The official languages of Isle of Man are English and Manx Gaelic. Manx Gaelic is similar to Scots Gaelic and Irish Gaelic. Manx Gaelic is almost extinct and an effort is being made to revive and preserve it today.
