Notes

Here's a slightly different version:

Okoš mokoš
prde kokoš
Pita baja
Kol'ko tebi treba jaja

English Translation:

Okosh-Mokosh
The Chicken farts
Granny asks,
How many eggs do you need?

Sandra wrote: "Okos-Mokos doesn't mean anything, it goes together with kokosh (in the 2nd line).

Paula asked about the meaning of "Okos-Mokos" and wrote: "Mokos is a goddess". Later Paula wrote, "The Hungarian words OKOS-MOKOS be 'Smart-Mokos' in English! Could it be possible?"

If anyone knows of any meaning of Okos-Mokos or Okoš bokoš, please email me. Thanks in advance! Mama Lisa

Game Instructions

A child recites the rhymes pointing to a child on each syllable. On the last one, the child on which it falls says a number, the leader counts and the child on which the number falls goes out and so on until there's only one child who is "It".

Thanks!
In the video below, the one guy says "sedam" (seven) after the rhyme. Then the guy saying the rhyme counts: jedan, dva, tri, cetri, pet, sest, sedam (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7). When he reaches seven, the person whose fist he taps on 7 is "It". That's why they all say "sedam!" and kind of jump on him.
