bewilderment/amazement... the verbal tense "andaram" (preterit of indicative)
written "andarão" (future)
Then, the translation was in
future and not past, where you read (our version)... it should be (his
version) and the translation should be (his
translation)
I actually checked online with
both tenses and found that 623 sites give the same version as his and 124 the
same version as ours, so it seems it can go either ways. I suppose it's one
way in some places and the other way in some
others!
