We’ve added Guam to Mama Lisa’s World!

guamflagWe’ve added Guam to Mama Lisa’s World! Guam is an island located in the North Pacific Ocean. The native Chamorro name for the island is "Guahan", which means "we have" or "ours". It comes from the idea that they have everything they need. The official languages of Guam are English and Chamorro. Chamarro is a language of mixed "Hispanic-Austronesian" origins.

Now you can learn a song in the Chamorro language called Nånan-måmi (Our Mother). You can also hear it sung on two YouTube videos. Check it out!

Enjoy!
