Marty wrote me looking for the nursery rhyme called “A Wise Old Owl”. I enjoyed rediscovering this rhyme so much, I wanted to share it with all of you:
A Wise Old Owl
A wise old owl lived in an oak;
The more he saw the less he spoke;
The less he spoke the more he heard.
Why can’t we all be like that wise old bird?

Thank you.
I’ve been to several baby showers with fill in the blanks for nursery rhymes. On each occasion, everyone missed the question about Dr.
Foster and the wiise old owl. Now, thanks to your website, I have the answer to both.

I’m glad I could help!
I’ve never seen the fill in the blanks with nursery rhymes at baby showers. I’d love to hear more about it!
