Question about a French Song That Starts with “Dodo dinette, ma p’tite poulette”

Elisabeth is looking for a French song her grandmother used to sing to her. She can’t find it anywhere and we can’t either. It starts with “Dodo dinette, ma p’tite poulette” as a refrain, then continues as:

“Dans la rue des trois cailloux,
j’ai rencontré un p’tit bossu
Qui voulait vendre sa bosse
Pour aller en carrosse…”

She can’t remember what came next. Would anyone know it? If so, please comment below.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hello – I am remembering a similar song. I may be remembering two different ones. I’m searching for a song that has words like this “Fais do do mon beau bebe rose” rose is sung with two syllables, and then when she would rock my brother it was beau bebe blue. There was a little bit of a lively chorus too.

    I keep searching!

I was born in Quebec. My grandmother lived in St. George de Beauce – in case that helps in the search for our songs!
