Great Father’s Day Gift for a Great Dad

Photo of a Kids Father's Day Gift Idea

Here’s an easy Father’s Day gift for a kid to make.

1) Get a nice thick piece of paper that can handle paint. Write the following text on it:

Top 5 Reasons
(At the top of the page)

Why You’re the Best Dad
(At the bottom of the page)

2) Have child make a hand-print in paint in the center of the paper.

3) After the paint dries, the child can write the top 5 things about his/her dad going around the “fingers” in the hand-print. The child can sign it if s/he’d like.

4) Glue the paper onto a larger piece of construction paper to frame it.

This can also be done for Mother’s Day. It’s a great project to do in schools.

How wonderful for a Dad to see the reasons he’s appreciated. You can’t ask for a better Father’s Day gift than that.

Happy Father’s Day!
