Girl Scouts International World Thinking Day

I received an email by Cay from the Girl Scouts about International World Thinking Day. She’s looking for information about childhood life in Uruguay. I have gotten this type of request for information in the past for this event. I welcome you to post questions and answers in the comments below. Hopefully we can get a conversation going here to help the Scouts with this event. Here’s Cay’s email…

Hi,

I’m a Girl Scout Leader for 20 9-year-old girls in Florida, USA. Our troop would like to learn about what it’s like to be a child in Uruguay, and more specifically, what it’s like to be a Girl Scout in that country.
We’d like to know about customs, favorite activities and good deeds children typically do! We plan to put together a presentation to share with other Girl Scout troops at our International World Thinking Day celebration in February. If anyone can help me, I’d be so grateful!

Cay

If anyone can help Cay, or if you’d like to post your own question about this event, please feel free to leave a note in the comments below.

Thank you!
