Greg wrote asking for help with an Italian lap rhyme. Here’s his email:
"Does anyone remember an old Italian lap rhyme that started si taci, si taci? I could go on but I don’t know the spelling of the first verse. Something like la banna bunk a fa chi."

Greg added, “My mother’s family was from the Abbruzzo region (specifically Pietranico) which is near Abbateggio.”

Laurylann asked about another Italian rhyme. Here’s her question…
“I heard a rhyme growing up and do not remember the all the words! It is from Italy the Abruzzo region.
It started ‘Io sono un piccolo mondo’.
There is also some reference about turning around in it… at some point something like…
Ca- g- a, ca-g-a,
Then at another point-
Riturndo riturndo (I know my spelling is incorrect, but I know it’s turn turn in Italian) and then ended with something like azure de May.
It was short!
Hoping you know it or have heard of it!
My grandmother was born in 1897. My great uncle use to recite it to me. He was born about 1894.”
