Can Anyone Help with a Song in Nahuatl?

Araceli Perez wrote to us asking for help with a song in the Aztec language called Nahuatl. Here’s her email…

I saw a few songs in Nahuatl on your website, and was wondering if you’d know where I can find another Nahuatl song that goes something like this:

Amotitlacati timote quipachos
Masque timo cueso pan moyolo

Nochitipia
ce citalli
ce citalli
chipahia tohuia.

I’m not sure of the spelling in Nahuatl. It’s sung in Spanish too. The translation in Spanish is this:

No has nacido amigo para estar triste
aunque llueva en tu corazon

Todos tenemos,
una estrella
una estralla
de luz blanca.

English:

You have not been born friend to be sad
Even if it rains in your heart

We all have,
a star
one key
of white light.

Have you ever heard this song?
Any idea where to find the correct lyrics in Nahuatl?

I’d really appreciate any hints!
Thanks so very much

If anyone can help with this song, please comment below.

Thanks in advance!
