There Was an Old Woman Had Three Sons - English Children's Songs - England - Mama Lisa's World: Children's Songs and Rhymes from Around the World - Intro Image

Notes

This rhyme is similar to There Was an Old Woman Had Three Cows.

*****

Here's another slightly different version from Traditional Nursery Songs of England with Pictures by Eminent Modern Artists edited by Felix Summerly (1843):

There was an old woman had three sons,
Jeffery, Jemmy, and John;
Jeffery was hung, and Jemmy was drowned,
And Johnny was never more found:
So there was an end of these three sons,
Jeffery, Jemmy, and John.
