You Shall Have an Apple

You shall have an apple,
You shall have a plum,
You shall have a rattle,
When papa comes home.

Notes

Here's the version that can be found in The Nursery Rhyme Book, edited by Andrew Lang and illustrated by L. Leslie Brooke (1897):

You shall have an apple,
You shall have a plum,
You shall have a rattle-basket,
When your dad comes home.

Thanks and Acknowledgements
