"How many miles to Babylon?"
"Threescore* miles and ten."
"Can I get there by candle-light?"
"Yes, and back again!
If your heels are nimble and light,
You may get there by candle-light."
*Threescore = Three times twenty = Sixty.
A line of boys and girls holding hands approaches two other children (who have their hands joined and raised up to form a double arch). After the dialogue, the line passes through, and the last child is caught if possible by a sudden lowering of the arms by the two kids who formed the "arch".
