See-Saw-Jack in the Hedge

See-Saw-Jack in the Hedge - Mama Lisa's House of English Nursery Rhymes, Intro Image

See-Saw-Jack in the hedge,
Which is the way to London Bridge?
One foot up, the other foot down,
That is the way to London town.

Notes

Harry's Ladder to Learning (1850) has this version:

See-saw Sacaradown

See-saw, sacaradown,
Which is the way to London* town?
One foot up, the other foot down,
That is the way to London town.

*There's yet another version with "Boston" as the town instead of "London". You can find it that way in The Heart of Oak Books, First Book (1895) edited by Charles Eliot Norton.
