Cada cual que atienda su juego,
Y el que no lo atienda
Pagará una prenda.
A lo seguro a lo maduro
Que se voltee Carlitos de burro.
Everyone must pay attention to the game,
And the one that doesn't pay attention
Will get a penalty.
When it's certain, when it's safe,
Let donkey (child's name) turn around.
This song is originally from Spain.
The children sit in a circle. The leader (who's chosen in advance) is placed in a spot where he can be seen by all the players. Each player chooses a musical instrument to pretend to play when the leader points to him. If he fails (because he didn't notice that he was pointed to), he gets a penalty that was decided on before the game started.
